Ernie O’Malley | Cormac O’Malley | Civil War Lives Public Lecture Series
1922 proved to be a pivotal year in the emergence
of the Irish state.
What had been a War of Independence soon evolved
into a Civil war as the Anglo-Irish Treaty was implemented in March 1922.
Cork City Libraries will host a public lecture
series as part of the Irish Civil War National Conference. The series will take
place from Tuesday 14 June to Friday 19 June with each lecture commencing at
6.30 pm.
All are welcome and each lecture is free of charge.
